This beautiful temple is very close to Tirunelveli and has some really good sculptures and carving on the pillars. The presiding deity is Venkateswara as in Tirumala and the thayars are Alarmel mangai and Padmavathi. There are seperate sannadhis for both the thayars in the praharam.
How to reach
The temple is just around 10-12 kms from Tirunelveli enroute to Tiruchendur. Lot of buses are available from Tirunelveli junction bus stand. Buses towards Alwar tirunagari, Srivaikuntam, Karunkulam pass by Krishnapuram. A big arch has been constructed on the main road and the temple is just a few mtrs away. It can be easily located from the Tiruchendur main road.
