Located in Gandhinagar 2nd main road, close to Adyar signal the temple is very popular among the residents of Adyar and Thiruvanmiyur area. The presiding deity is Sri Anantha Padmanabha swamy as in Trivandrum. The kodi maram, vimanam and three doors of the main sanctum are covered with gold. The other sannadhis are Garudan, Anjaneya, Sudharsana, Narasimha, Amman and Utsava moorthies in a seperate sannadhi. There are also Nava graha sannadhi and Peepal tree below which there are small idols of Ganesha, Shiva and Krishna. The Brahmotsavam is celebrated in a grand manner during the month of February.

Nice one! I loved the set of the elephant procession. have never seen one before! if only i could visit chennai during navaratri and get a bunch of bommais!!
